I have studied Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Macromedia Dreamweaver & Flash and I would like to work on jobs that entail me to gain the necessary experience that I need to become a good graphic designer.
I am willing to become an apprentice receiving only an allowance and work part time from home.

Have you tried looking on Craig's list? I know they have some good ads on there.

Thanks nanangel, yes I have always watched on jobs available at Craigslist but for graphic and web design jobs, I find it hard to be given the chance as what they usually need are experienced designers and I barely have an experienced on these types of tasks.

| Have you tried selling any of your artwork on Ebay by chance? I know there are other topics about selling other things on there and I used to sell some of my sculptures there, but I was curious about it for graphics.

Hmm, selling on eBay? I haven't gone to eBay for a few months and it might be worth checking out again and see if I can find another way to earn. I don't know about selling graphics but maybe selling your services would be the thing to do. Thanks for the idea.

| Well, I know from when I was doing a lot of sculpting and such, I had a lot of people that not only bid on my work, but would then contact me and see if I did any custom work as well. It can sometimes work as a foot in the door.

| Do you have a website? If not, you might consider making one to market your service. There is a definite need for graphic artist on the internet, so good luck!

I am planning to have my own website and then I might as well place the link on my signature in the forums that I visit in order to market it. Well, sometimes I am thinking that the better way might be to work as an apprentice first so that I can get the experience and confidence that I need.
